We’ll meet for a short call to talk through your business, your goals, and see if The Brand Debut feels like the right fit. If it does, you’ll receive a proposal and invoice to officially reserve your spot.

Prep your content
You’ll choose your Showit website template, work through the copy prompt workbook, and complete your questionnaire by the agreed-upon due date. This helps us understand your brand, direction, and personality before your photoshoot and website build.

Brand Photoshoot session
We’ll hop on a creative planning call to map out outfits, mood, and your visual direction at Amarah Studios. Then it’s shoot day—come ready to have fun. Your gallery will be delivered for image selection afterward.

Customize your template
Using your selected template, you’ll plug in your copy and photos through Showit’s easy drag-and-drop builder. It’s simple, intuitive, and designed to help you launch without getting stuck in tech overwhelm.

Website Review & Audit
Once your site is ready, you’ll submit it for a final review. Jess will go through the design, optimize key sections, connect your domain, and make sure everything feels polished, cohesive, and ready for the world to see.

Hi, Jess here, an event + wedding planner turned brand and web designer!
My path into web design wasn’t random. It was more like a long, winding return to something I’d loved since my teenage years—building little corners of the internet that felt thoughtful, personal, and inviting. Today, I help service-based founders and small businesses turn their ideas into websites that carry their brand, build trust, and quietly work in the background while they live their lives.

Hi, I'm Sarah! With almost a decade of devotion and expertise in photography, I find myself mastering my craft and documenting stately and gleaming photographs for my clients.
For the past few years, I have been honored to work with various local Ottawa small businesses such as Moissy Fine jewelry, Galini Spa, Parla Hair, Rebecca Rose Beauty, and Luxe Bloom Cafe. I've also been published in Black Bride 1998, With Love Bridal & Bridal Musings.
My photography approach is pristine, bright with a touch of editorial. My polished sense of aesthetics and my willingness to reveal the beauty of a moment makes the photographs timeless. Is a one-page website enough?
Yes, more than enough. At the start of your business, you don’t need five tabs and endless sections (that you’ll probably rewrite 10 times anyway). You need one clear, intentional page that tells your story, shares your services, and makes it easy for clients to reach you. It’s streamlined, effective, and designed to grow with you when you’re ready for more.
Do I get to choose the final photos for my gallery?
100% yes. After your photoshoot, you'll receive access to your online gallery where you'll be able to choose your top 10 favourite images.
From there, Sarah will lightly retouch and edit them to match the aesthetic of your brand.
Are there deadlines in this process, even though I’m customizing the site myself?
Yes, there are a few key due dates built into the experience to keep everything moving smoothly, especially leading up to your photoshoot. You’ll be asked to submit your copy, questionnaire, and any selections by a specific date so your visuals and website come together cohesively.
This isn’t a “buy the template and let it collect dust in your inbox” kind of situation, IYKYK!!!
What if I’m not tech-savvy or feel nervous about customizing my website?
Our templates are designed to be simple, drag-and-drop, and easy to follow, and you’ll have a copy prompt workbook to guide what goes where. Plus, you’ll get a final review and cleanup so nothing feels messy or confusing before launch. You’re not expected to figure it all out alone.
What exactly do I get with The Brand Debut?

You’ll have complimentary access to our 900 sq. ft. studio—no fuss, no stress. With four photoshoot-ready areas, we can capture a range of looks and moods in one session. It’s designed to give you diversity in your gallery while keeping the experience effortless and fun.
What if I need more photos or even a brand identity and logo designed?
Should you wish to upgrade your experience, Sarah offers quarterly or bi-annually branding sessions (great for content creation + stock imagery!) while Jess also offers branding design. Reach out directly to learn more!
Can I hire you to customize the website template for me instead?
Yes, absolutely. If you’d rather skip the DIY part, you can add on a template customization for $650 and I’ll take care of the setup for you. It’s perfect if you want the same streamlined experience but prefer a more hands-off approach. Just let me know during booking and we’ll add it to your package!
How far advanced should I book and how does payment work?
The sooner, the better. We take a limited number of spots each quarter to keep the experience relaxed and personalized, so dates can fill up quickly.
Payment is split into two installments: 50% is due upon signing the contract to reserve your spot, and the remaining 50% is due prior to your brand shoot. All payments can be sent via e-transfer.
