We’ll meet for a short call to talk through your business, your goals, and see if The Brand Debut feels like the right fit. If it does, you’ll receive a proposal and invoice to officially reserve your spot.

Prep your content
You’ll complete your intake questionnaire and work through the copy prompt workbook by the agreed-upon due date. This helps us understand your brand, direction, and personality before your photoshoot and website build.

Brand Photoshoot session
We’ll hop on a creative planning call to map out outfits, mood, and your visual direction at Amarah Studios. Then it’s shoot day—come ready to have fun! Your gallery will be delivered for image selection afterward.

Custom one page Website Design
With your brand photos and content ready, Jess will design and build a one-page Showit website tailored to your business, brand, and goals. Every section will be thoughtfully laid out to bring your personality to life, communicate what you do, and make it easy for potential clients to take the next step!

Website Review & Audit
Once your website design is ready, you’ll have the chance to review it and share your feedback. I’ll make the agreed-upon refinements, optimize the site for mobile, and take care of the final details so everything feels cohesive, polished, and ready to launch.

Hi, Jess here, an event + wedding planner turned brand and web designer!
My path into web design wasn’t random. It was more like a long, winding return to something I’d loved since my teenage years—building little corners of the internet that felt thoughtful, personal, and inviting. Today, I help service-based founders and small businesses turn their ideas into websites that carry their brand, build trust, and quietly work in the background while they live their lives.

Hi, I'm Sarah! With almost a decade of devotion and expertise in photography, I find myself mastering my craft and documenting stately and gleaming photographs for my clients.
For the past few years, I have been honored to work with various local Ottawa small businesses such as Moissy Fine jewelry, Galini Spa, Parla Hair, Rebecca Rose Beauty, and Luxe Bloom Cafe. I've also been published in Black Bride 1998, With Love Bridal & Bridal Musings.
My photography approach is pristine, bright with a touch of editorial. My polished sense of aesthetics and my willingness to reveal the beauty of a moment makes the photographs timeless. Is a one-page website enough?
Yes, more than enough. At the start of your business, you don’t need eight pages and endless sections (that you’ll probably rewrite 10 times anyway). You need one clear, intentional page that tells your story, shares your services, and makes it easy for clients to reach you. It’s streamlined, effective, and designed to grow with you when you’re ready for more.
Do I get to choose the final photos?
100% yes. After your photoshoot, you'll receive access to your online gallery where you'll be able to choose your top 10 favourite images.
From there, Sarah will lightly retouch and edit them to match the aesthetic of your brand.
Are there deadlines in this process? What does the timeline look like?
Yes! The Brand Debut is a three-week experience, with a few key deadlines along the way to keep everything moving smoothly. You’ll need to submit your questionnaire, website copy, and other requested materials by their assigned due dates so we can plan your photoshoot and design your website around your content.
We’ll walk you through the timeline at the start of the process, so you’ll know exactly what’s needed and when. Timely submissions and feedback help us make the most of our three weeks together and get your website ready to launch without unnecessary delays.
What do I need to have ready before working together with you?
You don’t need to have every little detail figured out, but having a clear direction for your business will make a big difference! You should have a general understanding of what you offer, who you want to work with, and what you want your business to be known for.
Having an existing brand identity or at least a visual direction you feel good about is also helpful, since we’ll use that as the foundation for your website design and brand photos.
What exactly do I get with The Brand Debut?
The experience includes a 45 minute brand photo session, access to Ottawa's best photo studio, 10 professionally edited photos, a one-page Showit website template of your choice, AND two hours of designer review to polish everything before you go live. It’s a streamlined, momentum-building starting point designed to help you get out there and grow.

You’ll have complimentary access to our 900 sq. ft. studio. With four photoshoot-ready areas, we can capture a range of looks and moods in one session. It’s designed to give you diversity in your gallery while keeping the experience effortless and fun.
What if I need more photos or even a brand identity and logo designed?
Should you wish to upgrade your experience, Sarah offers quarterly or bi-annually branding sessions (great for content creation + stock imagery!) while Jess also offers branding design. Reach out directly to learn more!
Can I add more pages to my website?
Absolutely, if you need additional pages, we can absolutely explore that. Just let me know what you have in mind, and I’ll provide a separate quote based on the pages and scope of work involved.
How far advanced should I book and how does payment work?
The sooner, the better. We take a limited number of spots each quarter to keep the experience relaxed and personalized, so dates can fill up quickly.
Payment is split into two installments: 50% is due upon signing the contract to reserve your spot, and the remaining 50% is due prior to your brand shoot. All payments can be sent via e-transfer.
